R&B Sports Media started with the parent show, Sportz Blitz Live. The show began airing during the football season in the Fall of 2006.[3] The broadcast schedule was extended for Season 2 (2007-2008) and went to a 52 week schedule. On February 26, 2008 a new radio call-in show spin-off was created called "Sportz Blitz Overtime" (Now Lake Martin Sports Roundup) and airs on WKGA 97.5 FM. The show is filmed on location at JR's Sports Bar and Grill in downtown Alexander City. The third show created by R&B Media was The Saturday Sports Countdown. This show originally began airing in 2008 and currently airs every Saturday morning from 7:00 a.m.- 9:00 a.m. In 2008 R&B Media expanded its operations and formed the AHSAA Radio Network, which is the exclusive radio provider of championship broadcasts for the AHSAA.

R&B Sports Media is a division of Lee Marketing Group that was started in 2006 with the original show being Sportz Blitz Live hosted by Randy Lee Jr. and Brett Pritchard. Since then R&B Sports Media has grown and shows like Saturday Sports Countdown, Lake Martin Sports Roundup, Auburn Blitz, and Bama Blitz have been added to our programming. In 2008 we began our first year as the AHSAA Radio Network and have continued to provide comprehensive coverage the Alabama High School Athletic Association Super 7 football championships and the basketball State Finals, as well as all All-Star events.
